Here are answers to common questions about Smiles and our current services.

What support does Smiles provide?

We offer non-regulated home and community support, including household help, meal preparation, companionship, outings, appointment support, Autism & SEND support and administrative help with forms.

Are you currently registered with the CQC?

No. Smiles is not currently registered with the CQC. We do not currently provide regulated personal care, such as assistance with washing, dressing or toileting.

Can you prepare meals and batch cook?

Yes. We offer meal planning, shopping, cooking, batch cooking and preparing and serving dinner. Please tell us about your preferences, dietary requirements and allergies when arranging support.

Do you support children and adults with autism or SEND?

We offer individual support for children, young people and adults, shaped around routines, interests, communication and sensory needs. Contact us to discuss the support needed and availability.

Can I request a particular language?

Yes. Our team includes English, Bengali and Urdu speakers. If you prefer another language, ask us—we may be able to arrange it. We will confirm availability before arranging support.

How much does support cost?

Prices depend on the support requested. We will discuss your needs and confirm costs before you decide to proceed.

Can you help with benefit forms?

We provide practical administrative assistance with forms and documents, alongside signposting. This is not legal, financial or specialist welfare-rights advice, and we cannot guarantee an application outcome.

Is your training accredited?

Our current paid workshops and awareness sessions are non-accredited. We do not currently offer CPD accreditation or accredited qualifications. Topics and availability are confirmed when you enquire.
